Hitch is the story of Alex Hitchens (Will Smith). He is a date doctor i.e. helps guys get date with women they like.He is a good guy and helps only those guys who are serious about the women they like. But inside, he himself does not believe in love having been betrayed once. This leads to lots of hilarious incidents.
Enter Sara played by gorgeous Eva Mendes who is a gossip columnist for a New York tabloid. She too is extremely guarded around men with her career as an excuse. But somehow these two start a relationship.
The conflict begins with a guy hurting Sara's best friend and cursing the 'date doctor'. Sara misinterprets this as the 'date doctor' (She doesn't know yet that Hitch is the date doctor) being responsible for the incident. She finds out that Hitch himself is the date doctor, is shattered and breaks off the relationship. She takes out her anger in her gossip column. Finally, things settle down and all live happily ever after.
The biggest plus point of Hitch is Will Smith's impeccable comic timing. The movie is approx. 120 min long with lots of hilarious scenes. A must see
