Because of this title of the movie we all understood that it should be related to our educational system. I had a huge expectation from the story of this movie, sadly it took an odd turn and I think the director could not handle to proper mixture of comedy and serious scenes. The story begins with a adolescent boy who works in a local tailor shop and one day a lady came to his shop who in future became his wife. The story revolves around this couple and their little daughter, because they were not well educated the, especially the lady wanted her kid to be a part of top english medium school so she insisted her husband(Irfan Khan) to do anything to get their daughter admitted in one of the top reputed school. They will try a lot of things like changing their house to a posh area of the city and wearing expensive branded clothes to show off. But despite these all things they couldn't be able to get a seat for their daughter after that they will take training from professional institute to build their character appropriate for a so called'eligible' parent. Here also they will not get the seat. They will get the real shocking news when their servant will tell them his kid got a seat in that school in RTE category. After that they will make a plan where they will be trying to fool the school and get a seat in rte category. Here they will live with a real poor family and you can find some comedy here. Irfan Khan as usual performed very well and also I want to say about Deepak Dobriyal who was just amazing in his character. The most of the time you will get punch lines from this guy and the way he delivered it that's so funny. I don't like the ending of the film, it could have been better. And also the story is not that good. The songs are average but that is not a problem. The lady pakistani actress Saba Qamar who played the role of Irfan's wife didn't executed her good acting skills. All in all I think this is a normal family movie where you can find some good moments but don't expect much. If you want to skip this movie then you can do that this movie is not a must watch. But if you want to go with your kids and parents then it could be a option. Final verdict out of 10 I will give it 4.5.
