The Himalaya herbal protein hair cream retails for Rs 80 for 100ml of the product. It is easily available online as well as offline. It is a affordable product. Talking about its pakaging, it has a tub bottle container in which the white hair cream is kept. It has a tight closure so that no spilling of the product takes place. All the necessary information before use is written on it. Overall the pakaging is decent, sturdy and simple. One thing I don't like about this is that it's unhygienic to use fingers to take out the cream whenever required. I preferred it would have given a small spatula with it but however it's manageable. The consistency of the hair cream is offcousre creamy and smooth when touched. It quickly absorbs into the scalp and hairs. The cream is white in colour but does not leave any white cast on hairs. I like the formulae of the cream being non oily and non sticky. Again one more thing I did not liked much about this is that, it has a strong fragrance which may not be lovable by others. The main ingredients in this product are some natural ingredients plus methyl and propyl pareben. So those who are very much concerned about chemicals they could skip it. This product claims to give nourishment, controls damaged hair, soft, smooth, silky hair. Basically provides a healthy hairs. I have used it 5-6 times and it really works well on my hair. I have dry and frizzy hair. The quantity is so much enough that it can be used several times. I use this Himalaya herbals protein hair cream in two ways. First method is like hair mask and secondly as serum.
1) Pre-Hair wash : - Just take a small quantity on hand and apply all over the scalp first. Then apply it all over the hair from the root to tip. Massage it properly while doing this procedure. Leave it for 1 hour and then wash it with mild shampoo. It easily gets off when washed without any effort. The result was very good. It makes my hair smooth, soft, frizz free and shiny. No sticky or oily residue after wash. I just skip my conditioner step because it does the same job quickly and nicely.
2) Post-Hair wash : - After hair wash just use it a little bit. Other wise it will look wet. Just like a serum take a small amount and apply only on hair strands not on scalp. The result is manageable hairs with silky texture.
Best suited for dry hairs. Overall yes I do recommend you guys to give it a try.
