I purchased this scooter for my wife as it has self start, Aero dyanmic styling. Best of all it has 102 cc engine so it can carry load of our family as all 3 of us used( sometimes 4) travel on my previous byke TVS Victor. Of course now I cant compare Pleasure with TVS but the space is not big as byke.
In first month in city drive it gave me a mileage of 40 km and out of city on highway it used to give upto 50 km. I have no expectation of these scooters as they never give more than 30 to 35 as it is common with many similar models in the market. The scooter runs fast and touches 70 within few seconds and even overtakes bykes of 100 cc category. As far as speed and manouverability it is very good but soon I faced lot of problems with the service center as the vehicle records were not provided properly. Each service was done on request as the HDFC people who financed the vehicle didnt properly gave me the records.
First problem everybody who purchased this vehicle in my known circle complains is the self start fails within few months of purchase. The broken kickrods is common. Even though first these vehicles were bought for women sooner or later these were taken over by the male in family as these vehicles stop in the middle of the road putting those women in embarassing situations. These vehicles have battery charging units complaint and manufacturer seems to neglect this issue. So far they didnt do anything about it. Even today the either battery used by the manufacturer of charging unit of the battery is major culprit and most of the Pleasure users are seen kicking their starting rods in the middle of road sometimes leaving vehicles on road side.
To my dismay later I found that the spares are very costly for this vehicle. Now I am repenting that I have taken purchase decision to buy this vehicle instead of buying yoyo or yash bike!
