Im a proud owner of the CBZ for the last six months. Up to this time, Im very much impressed with the performance. I have used it for almost 4000 kms and believe me, the service cost I had to give was only 300 bucks till now. That was the most impressive of all.
Then, when we come to the Mileage part, it gives me an impressive Mileage of around 47 Kmpl average. The minimum I got was 37 Kmpl and the maximum of 53 Kmpl. Other thing with this bike is that, u dont have to keep the bike under 40 Kmph for getting the max Mileage . Even if we go around 60-80 Kmph speed, the Mileage will not suffer.
Handling is good. At high speeds too, the bike is perfectly stable. Breaking is excellent(Im using a standard version of CBZ with no disk breaks). I dont think disk breaks are required for the bike, because to be frank, the bike does not deliver that too much of power. I was using a RoadKing, Yezdi before CBZ and the thing is that we cannot compare the powers of these two bikes, or even cannot compare the power with the standard Yamaha.
The seating position and the handle is the main problem with the bike as far as I know. The handle is not in a comfortable position as one may like. It may be a problem if used for long distances. The seating too, is not comfortable.
If you are looking for a bike for your city rides, then I wont recommend CBZ to you because its not meant for heavy traffic. It burns a lot of petrol in the city too. The lowest mileage I got was 37 and I got for the City rides.
I have a suggestion for the ones who hesitate to go for CBZ just because of their price, go for a second hand, and u will get below the half price, for just an year old one.
