Don't skip breakfast: This is one of the most common mistakes, dieters make. You need to eat breakfast to kickstart your metabolism into burning calories. Also if you don't eat breakfast, you greatly increase your chances of overeating later in the day.


Believe it or not, fruit juices are not helpful to dieters: Orange and sweet lime juices are full of natural sugar. Substitute with coconut water instead. A chilled drink of 100 ml of coconut has only 24 calories, fresh lime without sugar has only 5 calories.


Dairy food are essential for your body: Instead of cutting out all dairy products, erase your consumption of full- fat milk and cream products. But you need the calcium in milk because it's most easily absorbed by the body. It also contain high-quality protein and Vitamin B2 which help in the release of energy from food.


Drink up guys!:Water is the only zero-calorie filler on this earth. Drinking icy water revs up your metabolism, keeps body temperature from dropping. Do you know that drinking 10 very tall glasses of water actually helps burn an extra 200 calories every day.


Weighing yourself everyday is self-defeating: When you begin to exercise, there will be very few noticeable changes. In fact, you just might put on some weight, which will discourage you completely. Best time to weigh yourself is in the morning at 7:00 AM and only once a week. Never weigh yourself in th evening as there is a difference of 2-3 pounds from morning to evening.
