I read a few of the review. Everybody tried it there way but there was a lack of essential approach. Of course obesity can be a problem due to genes in your family. They have figured out this gene and have made one obesity transgenic mouse. But the genetical cure for this problem is still far and you have to go for the standard methods in use for long.
For controlling the weight you need planned diet and also excercise. Planned diet has been treated by most of you as a diet which is low in fat. But thats not enough. You have to avoid fat, have to keep your food nutritious and have to take care of one more thing, its called'Carbohydrate diet' A common way to decide on your diet is to have a personal analysis. It is slowly getting popular. they analyse your food habits and your physiology by some simple tests and some questions and you are on your way to healthy diet.
What is carbohydrate diet? Normally people don't care about their intake of carbohydrates. Surplus carb. are converted into fat and are stored in your body, so taking a low fat diet does not help as much as it should if your carbohydrate uptake is high.
What to do? Cut on carbohydrate. take food which is low on carbohydrate. When you do it, remeber you have to be careful. A small intake of carbohydrate will start a chain of reaction which will demand for more of carb, and if you can not provide it, you may feel anorexia. Best solution is to keep some quick burn carb(like glucose solution) with you. Take it if you feel like that.
Which food is low in carb? Food like fish, green salads, beans etc. Just for information, all kind of starch food(like bread, rice, potato), sweet things(except artificial sweeteners) are carb. So a diet of low carb will be too monotonous. But you have to go through it.
rest you all know. Take good proteinaceous diet. Take nutrient supplements to keep your intake of minerals and vitamins to optimum level. Do brisk excercise, unless you want to be a body builder. Running and jogging will definitely top the list. Abdomen muscle excercise are useful too.
