Dear Frndz It is admitted that in this era of changing means and styles of publicity, even genuine products tremble and die hard for their existence. Its true lack of popularity due to poor marketing results in premature closure of various big companies even.
On the contrary although I don't want to be specific yet in my considered opinion, it becomes awful, dreadful and unpleasant if a customer keeps on receiving unsolicited calls from one or the other Bank that too one after another call on mobile phone. It increases the irritation level to its height when these calls are received while one is driving, busy in a meeting, fetching cash from ATM or enjoying in a party. It may be deliberate or perhaps convenience of the callers due to their working hours but at all not tolerable at the receiving ends. On the other hand, if one agrees to give them a moment, they stretch it to the other side of the horizon. The lucrative offers, which seldom see the Sun, land customers only to the Consumer Courts.
A customer remains in a mess despite noting down so called Senior Marketing Executive i.e. Caller’s name say Miss XY of ABC International Bank. Even recordings of conversation/commitments on mobile phone, do not serve any purpose at later stage. The areas prone to cheating by Banks normally are rate of interest on Car/Personal/Housing/Top-up loans, Repayment Plans etc. And, in mobile industry the poor and innocent customers become prey of committed call rates, duration, validity, free SMS etc. which oftenly seen otherwise afterwards. The above are the sole and absolute reasons of customers’ ire over telephone calls on their mobile phones. Otherwise, we welcome the MNC culture but will not compromise at the cost of our privacy. False commitments stay for short, big companies should know this very small thing.
The sustained efforts with TRUE promises shall always nourish, shine and support a company to survive…and not the unsolicited telephone calls. razHanda nprs121@yahoo.com
