If you would like to enjoy being harassed with calls and threatening to be put under bad customer list please get a HDFC credit card. My wife holds a card and we have been using this for almost a year now. Last month due to some family activities we used the card little extensively. From the very first day of the last billing date we started getting calls from HDFC credit card division. We have been very prompt in our payments on this card so far. They do agree with that but that gives you no mileage they keep calling/harassing us over phone.
We could not tolerate this and we did a balance transfer from Barclays(I would have paid it on 1st June but they are ready for it) they were like rushing me so we did this arrangement. This happened last week Thursday and when HDFC called us we told them that we did a balance transfer but still they said they cannot wait and the payment has to be done immediately and today. Again the next day a different person I explained with no use. Today the 21st it reached the peak, they called my wife and said if we are not making the payment in next 2 hours we will be put in the defaulters list. Isnt this harassment by HDFC? I dont know what to do at this stage, just waiting for the Barclays fund transfer to reflect. I am repenting zillion times now to have taken HDFC Credit Card.
