We know that HDFC bank is one of the most successful private bank of India which has certainly emerged as a reputed brand in the past time. But as of today Hdfc Banks's sevice is regularly degrading day by day and they are not at all bothered about their services and nor their customers.
HDFC provides misleading informations and : -
In my family , we all have A/c in HDFC bank and on one day we went to HDFC bank to Deposit a amount of Rs 50, 000 as Fixed Deposit ( FD) .
Then the bank executive told us about a policy that was HDFC Life .Then we told them that I wanted to do a FD because we could need this money anytime to withdraw . So the executive said that this HDFC Life policy also works same as FD and you can withdraw your money anytime and you'll get extra benefit in this policy. So we trusted the executive and took HDFC Life policy but after few months when we needed the money urgently and went to bank to close that Hdfc Life policy and withdraw money then we were told by the Bank that you cannot withdraw the money as it have a Locking period of 5 Years.
Damn ! We were shocked to hear this.
We complained about it that why the Hell we were provided with the wrong information . Then the bank people started blaming us only saying that you might have not heard the Policy correctly that time.
So are we MAD or what ! They captured our money in one sense.
Levying AMB charges on Account : -When you open your new Account in HDFC then they have a really bad terms and conditions for it , that is you need to maintain a monthly Balance of Rs 25, 000/- or more in your account . If you failed to maintain this 25, 000/- then you have to face severe consequences . They will immediately deduct a heavy amount of Money from your account as AMB charges for non maintaining balance in your account . I was the victim of same issue when I withdrawed the money for an emergency and the requires balance came below 25, 000/- and a huge amont of Rs 2052/- was deducted from my account.
All other banks are opening the Balance in Rs 0 ( zero) . But Hdfc is just making its own rules and policies.Taking more than 20 days to open new account : - After facing the heavy charges for not maintaing 25K balance I decided to degrade my A/c to 10, 000/- mark ( because only after a year you can degrade the limit of your A/c ) . So I filled and submitted all forms for new A/c and did all the formalities from my side and I was told that my A/c will be activated in 3-4 days but till present time it has been more than 20 days and my Bank A/c s not yet activated. Whenever I enquire about this they have just one answer that we are working on your A/c to get activated. Now this is so much disgusting and irritating.
Branch Manager of HDFC does not easily entertain Customer : - If you have a query or a problem and want to have a conversation with the Branch Manager to resolve your issue then forget about it. The Branch Manager not even look up to the customer issue and concern. They just do not have any responsibilities and concern toward their customers. So therefore I request everyone of you who is reading this that please for god sake , stay away from HDFC bank and warn your every relatives and friends of that do not open your A/c in Hdfc bank.
