This is the worst experience I have been through in any of the banks so far.
I am customer with HDFC with last 7 years with holding a saving account, credit card, policy, car loan and many services.
infact, in records I am a classic customer with bank wherein, my personal relationship manager calls me and ask me to invest in different ventures with the bank.
I am highly disappointed and going to end this jouney with HDFC bank very soon.
As per my best knowledge I have a credit card with credit limit of 3 lacs and I have been using this credit card since 5 years without any default. This year in january I didnt pay my due amount and collections called me and I have informed them to pay the amount in feb first week. inspite of considering my request they have hold my saving account and suspended my credit card account.
I have transferred my salary on 2 February to my savings HDFC account wherein I have released that my HDFC saving account has been on hold by credit card collections department.
I visited branch next morning and attended by shivank Gupta and Mudit(Palam Vihar). As per them this is credit cards department work and they couldn't do anything. As per both of them credit card department has a different policies and terms to follow and I have to make calls to customer service to get their help for the same.
I have called multiple people on customer service agent level(Richa, Kiran and many more) all have communicated to me to pay minimum due amount of 8 k and your account has been released. also connect with collection department post making payments.
I have made the payment on 5 Feb and paid 18 k instead of 8 k and called collection department and inform them as I have made the payment, Kindly release my saving account so I can make payment for car loan due on 7 feb.
However collection people(Sumit, Kajal Chokrabarty, sandeep, Mahender and many more) said unhold on any account is nt our duty, it is solely responsible on credit card department and they will do it . Hence call them and got this revert within 24-48 hours your saving account will be released.
Today I got a call from Kamla Giri and as per her she is on online recording call and doesnt say lie. She said ma'am I have confirmed from all the concerns team and we can release your saving and credit account untill you pay complete amount.
Falls promises and fake commitments this is what HDFC stands for, no sync, no reliability and no professionalism.
As Kamla called me again and said ma'am I have checked and no one has promised you anything as such. if you have any recordings and anything in return you may show and we can do something about it. but you have to pay complete amount on credit card and then we will release your savings account.
I have my closing balance saving of 25 k and could nt fetch to pay my car loan or credit and these people ask me to beg borrow or steal to suffice their false commitments.
This would be my bad day and Bad experience with HDFC bank. All relationship with them will be end soon and I will never ever suggest to anyone to go to HDFC for their slogan "Karlo bank Muthi Mei" infact these people will hold you tightly in their muthi mei and ask you to take breadth.
All employees who work inside this brand has no sense of empathy with any customer. they are brutal and worst relationship bank to have with.
