Very high charges for everything. Review on HDFC Bank

I had opened an account with HDFC bank a year ago. They told me that I had to maintain a minimum balance of 10000 rupees on my savings bank account. They told me that my debit card I had can be used in any country. A month after opening the account I was travelling a foreign country. I used this card to withdraw money and I maintained the minimum balance. After coming back I was shocked to know that my account has fallen below the minimum balance and now its nearly -5000 rupees. It meant that now I had to deposit 15000 rupees into my account to keep up with the minimum balance. When I enquired with the bank they told me that it was because of Withdrawal charges. While opening the account the charge they offered was 250 rupees per withdrawal and now they had so many other charges. I just immediately closed my account with the bank.
