I visited HDFC Bank, Kundanahalli branch, Bangalore last Saturday. I asked customer executive there whether I can convert savings bank account into salary account?
She said that can be done with Govt. Id proof and Company ID card of company which is depositing salary. On Monday, when I visited the branch with the documents, she said it is not possible. I
was left rather disappointed. Bank should take proper steps to ensure that all its executives have proper knowledge. I have had very good experience with this bank before this unfortunate episode.
