In the past few years HDFC market share has been increased very sharply whether their saving products or loans scheme or the insurance products.HDFC BANK is doing a very good job but what happens once a person become its customer is very dissapointing.
I am going to share my experience only.
As per the RBI rules any one can ask to do neft from any bank any branch with in the country if the amount is 50, 000 or less even if u are not its customer but in hdfc there is no such culture. They dont even offer loose cheques to their own customer so disappointing.for this any one can file a complaint to banking ombudsman.
phone banking is worst they tell many lies just for verification they ask many questions.Some freaky agents ask exact address like even if u miss a single word they wont give any information.Its irritates a lot.
Even after IVR verification they ask account number and credit card number.
Worst part u can't speak to ur Branch Manger for some emergency purpose.There is no official landline number they have for any of their branch. They will arrange a call back if they feel which never came.
Saving products are too costly, their minimum balance is also on higher side as compare to other pvt banks.
Netbanking is also very poor in my experience I want my credit card statement everymonth but from starting it is showing error in netbanking even after 2 years this has not been rectified.
Only good thing about HDFC I feel they provide good offer while shopping yo their customer on many shopping outlets and also HDFC atms availability is also very good and most of them are in very good condition.
So friends this what I feel about HDFC bank.Thank you
