I was working for IOMC division with HCL on 3 different projects. Out of which only on one project I felt better in terms of my growth. Rest of 2 projects where resources are utilised to a core and thrown away.
People whoever sitting on interview panel and getting known useless resources with high package. People who are critical resources inside the project are utilized and not paid well. Everything in the hands of management. If you are close to management they make you grow. If not, you will be screwed for no reasons. All IT industry have this issues but I feel based on project you might face. However in my rating your scope might improve when you are working somewhere.
Only positive thing in HCL is you can learn multiple technology if you are interested. But never expect salary growth for that.
I would give positive rating to HR. As they understand the pain of employee and support to an extend.
