I have only two service provider in parel, Mumbai: Local internet by Five networks and Hathway. Initially I had taken Five networks, 64KBps at rate 05 Rs 500pm. Their speed was good but connectivity was intermittent. They told me it is because only operating system vista. So I switched over to Hathway thruway regular.. They claim 64 kbps with unlimited download., but its horrible.
You are not able to browse several websites like adobe.com. beta version of yahoo, updates of antivirus etc. After several reminders of my complaint, when no one turned to my home to check the error I went to their office at Lower parel. and forced them to send one of my engineer with me to my home.
After checking the connection on his laptop, he told me that this plan is only for students who use for chatting purpose. So I should change plan to some other plan. I switched to 512 bloats. It worked fine for a week, ut again then I am having intermittent connectivity. On complaining, you get the same message that problem has been forwarded to their engineer dept and problem would be solved in 24-48 hrs.
Whenever I call on phone no. provided, I am being told that engineer would be coming tomorrow morning. I call nex morning, I am told that they are coming in afternoon, and again in evening.
They have poorest service
