This is is going to be my longest review on MS and also my favourite. Okay, yet again a boy wizard comes and enchants us by his brief spell. This boy is Harry Potter. By far, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix is the BEST Harry Potter movie. First day first show, fourth day third show and now I'm planning to see it again. I'm not going to talk only about how I liked this movie. I'll briefly explain why OOTP is the most different and best HP movie.

While with the Dursleys, Harry(Daniel Radcliffe) cannot forget what happened barely two months ago. Lord Voldemort(Ralph Fiennes), the mosst dreaded dark wizard has returned. Only Harry is the witness of this incident and his few loyal friends, Dumbledore(Michael Gambon), and his secret missionaries believe him. To fight against the Dark Lord and also to recruit new members, Dumbledore re-organises The Order Of The Phoenix. They include members from within the ministry. But the ministry lead by the corrupt minister Fudge refuses flatly to believe that Voldemort is active once more. Reason: He believes that would create panic among the wizard, wizards would turn towards Dumbledore and thirdly, he will lose his post as the Minister For Magic. So in league with the Daily Prophet, Fudge tries to interfere at Hgwarts so as to supress Harry. A new prof, Dolores jane Umbridge(Imelda Staunton) makes Harry's life worse than hell. On the other hand, Harry's mind is infiltrated by the evil Voldemort. Can he fight it back?

The performances are absolutely terrific. Daniel Radcliffe who plays the famous yet distressed boy wizard gives a knock-out performance. Harry is 15 now, a perfect teen. He is frustrated about the ministry's attitude and ridicule he has gone through. He feels angry all the time. These emotions are perfectly potrayed by Dan. Rupert Grint and Emma watson who oplay Harry's best friends have lesser parts than usual but do complete justice to their characters. Gary Oldman who plays Harry Godfather gives a brilliant performance yet again as an accused murderer. Michael Gambon who plays Dumbledore does his role efficiently. Bellatrix Lestrange(I dont know her real name) has a limited role but does it perfectly. The real show-stealer in this movie is Imelda Staunton who plays Prof. Umbridge. Her girlish laughs, her pink dresses, her evil ways; all are a delight to watch. She is mind-blowing.

What do I say about the cinematography, camera effects and visual effects? I'm totally speachless here. When you see the scene in which Bellatrix and other death-eaters escape from Azkaban, you feel'Man, this is totally cool!' The scene where the Weasley twins burst their magical crackers is a delight to watch. The great hall filled with golden rockets, fiery dragons and colourful fires are a treat to watch. But the climax fight is which a huge+ point of the film. There's a 25 minute literally speaking awesome fight in the end. Its the scene where Harry and his five friends are cornered by a group of death eaters in the departmenr of mysteries. Your eyes will pop out and jaws will come down in each sequence here! Overall, very slick effects.

The direction by David Yates is top-notch. Peter Jackson converted a 900 page book into a 7 hour action packed movie(the entire series). David Yates converts an 800 page book into a 138 minute action adventure. Its not a joke to make such a big book into a reugular timed movie and yet keep magic of Harry Potter alive. Hats off to this guy.

Some cool one-liners:

1) You cant deny that minister, you've got to agree on one thing, Dumbledore's got style

2) How was it? Wet.

3) Just because you have an emotional range of teaspoon doesn't mean others do.

4) If a person felt all of these things at once he'd explode.

5) I'm sorry Prof., I must not tell lies.

Okay, finally I'll analyse the movie. I have and everyone has seen the earlier HP films. Just recall some scenes from the previous four films. Harry has a great time at Hogwarts, he is not aware of the deadle danger lying ahead of him, he has his little dventures with his pals. Not anymore. Harry has left the childhood forever. His future has been decided and concealed in a prophecy. He does not have his night-tme walks through the corridors of Hogwarts under an invisibility cloak. He is a teen now. His emotions which are depicted in the book are skillfully depicted in the movie. This is HP's darkest movie yet, and it is also the most brlliant of all.
