The Plot
*Hamraaz is basically a story of a lady Meena(Vimmi) who is married to a very loving husband Kumar(sunil Dutt) who is a famous stage actor. one day she comes to know that her daughter, from her first husband Capt Rajesh (secretly married before the existing marriage), is alive. She rescue her own daughter from the orphange and the mystry moves around the secret of her life which her husband doesn’t know and mean while she murdered. The later half of the film runs around this murder mystrey & the secrets of her life.
The Cast
The cast chosen in the film is perfect. Vimmi is in the role of Meena, although the story of the film runs around her life but sunil dutt steals the complete show with his presence.Sunil Dutt as an emotional husband, lover and a stage actors looks natural. Rajkumar as Capt Rajesh fits in the role. Manmohan krishna in the role of the Father nothing much he has to do he was stereo typed. Balraj Sahni in a Role of Inspector Ashok is as always superb. Mumtaz fits in the role of Kumars glamourous assistant.
The DIrection
As a directors point of view there is no any extra ordinary thing in the movie so many scenes u can predict easily. The direction is ok. May be I felt this way because the director didn’t try to creat too much of thrill in the mystry, which is in my point of view could have deen done in a better way.

Music is composed by Ravi, Ravi is purely a Music composer of BR Chopra camp, just for ur reference he is the same Music director who has given the music of Film WAQT, Neel kamal & chaudahvi Ka chaand & Nikaah. so in this movie too he has done a wonderful job. every song is still on the lips of all of us. I strongly feel the music and Songs have made this movie a Super hit.

Overall in my point of View The srong point of the film is the Music and the cast. A must watch movie which half way gives you a romantic joy and later the blend of mystery. The music keep u stuck in the chair.
