An ordinary yet entertaining novel

Just finished reading Chetan Bhagat‘s “Half Girlfriend“.

It was enjoyable, and kept me glued to itself from the first to last page. The novel spans across a number of places, ranging from Delhi(my adoptive hometown) and New York to Patna and Dumraon(a small town in Bihar). And, like his other novels, this one also reflects Mr Bhagat‘s captivating narration skill, observation power and sense of humor.

However, I feel the author could have maintained some more control on his power of imagination, as sometimes he seemed to have taken a bit too much liberty.

And yes, will like to say that I found both the central characters(Madhav Jha and Riya Somani) to be somewhat, well, weird. Anyways, at the end of the day it was a good read. I loved it.
