Haldwani is the second biggest city of uttrakhand. This city is hub for its nearby district Almora, Ranikhet, Kashipur, Bageshwar, Udhamsingh nagr.Haldwani city comes under komaoun mandal of uttrakhand.The last terminal of train in kumaoun mandal ends here at Kathgodam(haldwani).
