For technical courses, first batch of engineering enrolled in 2008 with Gujarat Technological University. As it is a new university, structure is not well defined and very huge scope of changes. System is not fixed so that student cant adjust and cope up with the pace and length of syllabus.
Exam pattern and distribution of marks is also not well defined so that initial batches have to suffer till they will not fix all the pattern for each and everyrhing.
Headquarter of university is VGEC, chandkheda. Morethan 200 engineering colleges are affliated to GTU ( 2012)
