The Grand Cop thorne water Front Hotel is a lovely place to stay especially if one manages to get the weekend deal which is worthwhile. You get the comforts of a five star at the 3 Star hotel rates. Also one is assured of good quality service. To add to the luxuries there is a huge breakfast spread, which is free during the weekends. Nothing like starting your day eating your breakfast by the side of the river .One could also opt for a wholesome meal for lunch or dinner at 16 Singapore dollars. The fact that the hotel is located on Havelock Road, is a plus as it is just 2-3kms away from China town and Orchard Rd (both of which are known for shopping) . Little India is definitely the ''pits'' as the roads are somewhat crowded and the place is kind of untidy unlike other places in Singapore. The Hotel offers a Free shuttle service (both drop and pick up with a time schedule ) to Orchard Rd and China Town which is very useful if one wants to avoid paying the Taxis.

The rooms are slightly small though compact . The view from our room which was on the 26th floor was amazing. The most perfect way to end your day when you return to the hotel is to unwind in the Jacuzzi. I had a wonderful time in Singapore and the stay at Grand Cop thorne was simply wonderful. One has to definitely book in advance if you need a good room especially during the summer. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those who wish to have a comfortable stay.
