This institute is developing at a very fast pace ,so is the ,Creamation ground next to it gr8 to see soulful polytech in Jammu,a cool canal coming out of chenab reminds of SOHNI 7 MAHIVAL the creamation ground reminds the new begining the KALI statue is a reminder of ultimate truth , the campus has a auditorium and no. of facilities like big library, hostel.
The staff is well mannered except one or two teachers who are racist by nature and always try to divide students in groups but are hardly successful because they are not supported by the staff or by the students.
the institutes offer no. of courses in textile designing, management,computers,languages and is well euipped .The college has seen a lot of development in last 4 years because of aid from World Bank the project of modernisaton has been very successful it has changed the look of the institute,the college offers latest courses and a practical insight is given in different subjects with a help of latest euipments,
