What can I say? This is a mindblowing book. Gone girl book also has been quite famous in India. Many big bollywood stars were present during there book launch in India.
What can I say about this book. I couldn't sleep without quite ending the whole book! I almost read this book in 2 days. We just cannot leave this until the mystery solves.
Gone girl book:
Book quality:
I borrowed this book from library so I cannot say much about the quality as it was already used. But this book was published by orion publishing group. I would like to say this that the page quality was quite good and the cover page makes you want more.
Author:
Gillian Flynn is the author of this book. He has written many famous books like dark places, sgarp objects etc. His writing language is quite impressive. He mostly weites this thriller books and they also has mystery in them. I personally likes how he just can write in a mans as well as womens perspective.
Summary:
This novel is physcotic thriller mystery. This was the book through which I entered into reading such physcotic thriller books and I am quite mesmerised by them.
This novel is about Nick Dunne and whether he has killed his wife Amy Dunne. The mystery starts with Nick Dunnes memories and then shows us Amy Dunnes diary. I was quite impressive how the author took the mystery till the last and made people amazed by it. It is mainly the story of Nick and Ammys strained marriage and how Nick lost his job and had to move to New York. How Amy suffers from this and who murderded Amy Dunne.
Book turned to movie:
Most of the books turned to movie can become a havoc but I was quite impressed by Gone Girl movie. It is starring Ben Aflleck as Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne. They have acted there part so skillfully that I was thrilled to watch such a powerful movie. Rosamunds acting was on point and made us remmember Amy from the books.
I mostly liked the books as they have extra information than the movie, so mostly I would stick to the books.
Ending:
I am not here to give any spoilers but I was quite disappointed by the end. You will understand after reading this book. The movie and books ending matches.
