Cheap rooms but poor quality. Review on Goibibo

I have booked rooms using goibibo 2-3 times . Though the rooms are very cheap in goibibo but the quality of the rooms are very poor .

The service and customer support is not good. Once I booked hotel through goibibo and my booking was confirmed but when I reached there they denied checkin as I did not had the booking slip hard copy. Although I showed the message to them but they wanted hard copy only . So I had to go to shop for printout and then after seeing that only they allowed me to checkin . When I talked customer care regarding this then they also told me that you have to abide by hotel rules but I want to ask where the hell it was mentioned .

The information is also not clearly available regarding rooms amenities and the photos of the hotel also smoetimes did not match with the original rooms. I booked once seeing the photo but what room I got was completely different from that and room was unhygenic.You can see clearly from photos attached.

The content is enough and you get many options . If you choose to book for gostays certified rooms then it is somewhat better in terms of facilities and amenities. You can also book flight tickets and bus tickets but I have never tried that.

The site is user friendly and app is also good and there are various options to filter your search.

The site does open fast and I have never faced any problem in usage . Payment is also fast and secured.

What I have experienced is that if you want to live alone and looking for cheap rooms then you can use goibibo but if you are booking for family then these cheap rooms are not good ones to opt for. Though goibibo has some high class hotels also(3 to 5 star hotels) but then it gets too costly and other sites like makemytrip, oyo give best deals in comparison to goibibo.
