we bought this a.c. in 2001 after our non remote voltas a.c. had conked off. over the years this a.c. has proved itself as a sturdy and very efficient appliance. it's 18,600 Btu cooling is better than the other ac's in my house (LG-18,000 Btu) whereas both consume the same amount of power 1800 watts/ hr. Because of the extra cooling capacity this a.c. is able to cool my 180 sq.ft. bedroom adequately even though 1.5 ton a.c's are meant for 150 sq.ft. rooms approximately.The grill design and the swing feature make it a bit noisy but other than that there is hardly anything to complain about. It has cool, auto, sleep and dry modes and also has overload and filter choked indicators. it has a useful power control feature which lets you set the number of units of electricity which will be consumed after which the a.c. will shut itself off.
The only grouse which I have is with Godrej's smart care service. After five years of trouble free use my a.c. developed some snag one and a half months back but they have not been able to set it right till now.
