The god of small things by Arundathi royan Indian novelist. The book is very clear and easy to understand by any age. What makes it exceptional is that it is a both beautiful and crafty a rare combination. This book has structure.
The reading of book is like having our arms and legs tied slowly movibg possibly dying horse and being dragged face-down through the jungle. Very nice book. I cannot stop reading the book in the middle.
The similies and metaphors Roy employs are simultaneously tactile and surreal like an overlay vivid dream and her storytelling
Style is somewhere b/w Joseph and emily.
The one thing that makes me hesitat to go all out with 5 is the whole backwards plot development things
Overall I loved the book and novel.
