We went to Goa and stayed at Goan Heritage Hotel for 2 days this month(11-13th Apr'15).We got a very good deal(stay+ breakfast), the amount much less than quoted in the portals.
The Hotel and its location is beautiful.its right on the beach.easy access to the beach.the hotel is quite a big property.open space of kids to play(my 3.5 yr old girl had a nice time playing and running around).The swimming pool is area, very relaxing.you can actually spend time with your friends and family.
The food is Ok.(though we had the breakfast there, and one day dinner).room service, front office, house cleaning, all good.But I wish the quality of the rooms were better.it really did not match the beautiful pics available in the net.i would not say it was bad, but it wasnt too good as well.i found the rooms very basic.
This hotel is little away from the main Calangute beach, but there are cabs outside the hotel which can reach you to the main hubs.they charge Rs 150 one way.
Thus, if you are looking only for relaxation and leisure time with family, this is the place.enjoy at the swimming pool, or just run to the beach.
A negative point I would like to mention is the timing of 7am-7pm.for using the pool or accessing the beach.
Overall.we loved and enjoyed our stay(it was a group of girls we went, with a small kid).shall definitely visit the place again.specially if you provide more of a cosy room.:-)
