This review is on Gillette Mach3Turbo which the company has launched sometime back in the market, and believe me, according to me its inferior to its earlier version Mach3. Gillette for years has been known to be the best shave equipment provider.
I have been a user of their razors for over 6 years now and one thing for sure, their quality is degrading day by day. Earlier, the razor blades used to last a long while, but now a days it doesnot last. How does Gillette then justify the premium it charges.
The new Gillette Mach3Turbo has a razor change notification strip, meaning that as soon as the color changes, you must change your razor blade, and you what? The color goes soon after 3 shaves!!!!! Does Gillette want to say that its blades are worth that duration only?? Initially the Sensor, Sensor Excel and the Mach 3 were all good but now I feel that slowly the quality has definitely degraded.
Now for some positives. The overall experience (except for this TURBO series) has been good. Till date the quality of shave it gives is par excellence which none can replicate. But yes the duration of the quality is slowly sinking. So if Gillette is listening, heres a punchline : GIVE IT A TURBO QUALITY MAKEOVER AND EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE!
