Recently on 13th Aug. 2021, we were on a holiday to Manali where we were trapped by this genial holiday club sales rep Mr. Rahul-766674xxxx.
we were also victims of their alluring tactics to trap the customer to buy their membership. we were invited to hotel golden tulip saying you won some golden ticket we need you to spend an hour to understand our product to win the prize.
casually we went and started listening to Mr. Rohit-821852xxxx. and Mr. Sukhdeep Singh-904155xxxx. they explained.
We took the holiday package of Genial holiday for rupees 85000 (It was totally fake commitment we realized only when we went online to check reviews on 15Aug2021 a few days later). on Sunday nobody lifted calls, Monday we've started calling again by 12 noon they pick calls and the entire thing turned upside down).
1.In resorts outside India exchange fee is applicable which they told us within their property in Asia (they don't possess any property as they lease only on bargaining) no exchange fee applicably other hotels exchange fee is applicable but at the time of selling membership outside Asia, we need to pay exchange fee they said.
2.No processing fee they said but it was debited from the account a day later the transaction.
3.Interest-free EMI but the bank charged interest on EMI.
4.Refund will be initiated fully if cancelled within a week (I.e. 7days) but some random guy calls every day asking to continue by hook or crook tactics. to pass time and end up saying we think you'll continue so no 7days passed you need to pay 20k as a marketing fee. (so end up losing 20k to their advantage, not to agreed terms.)
5.Email sent on Monday followed by calling to confirm. every time you'll get a random person calling what is your issue I'll try to sort it out first the people whom you met (Mr.Rohit & Mr.Sukhdeep Singh) will try to lure if not convinced the call center person calls then comes (Ms. Preethi Jain & Ms. Sakshi) then Mr. Sandeep lastly Mr. Umesh Sharma. asking you again from the beginning.
6.What is your experience if you ask me
A. Mental torture on forthcoming EMI and interest,
B. Inconvenience due to repeated calling's with no result as you know their intention to drag the issue and pass the time so you end up paying 20k as a marketing fee.
C. Harassments as they don't respond or pick up calls or mistreat and are reluctant to pay what they owe to you.
D. Misleading attitude is their technique which for me was not possible to accept to continue as a member with so much contradiction.
E. Alluring customers to get a membership on high superfluous projections.
I request the firm genial holiday club to credit my Rs. 85, 000 without any deduction ASAP. as further delay incurs us in paying EMI with interest. hope you will look into the matter like any other good organization.
