My Right PC. Review on General Tips on Websites

I have been looking at daily newspaper advertisements of this website. Initially I just did not give a second glance to it. But recently I thought to gift a desktop to my Mom, so when I saw the similar advertisement again, I just thought to check out on this website.

*Pros -

*1. It loaded quite fast

1. Professional Look - Yes, its there, have to mention it.

*Cons -

*The main page of the website shows a questionnaire, initially I saw it as a thoughtful thing, later I realised nothing can be more irritating that this.  I thought by the answers of this questionnaire, may be they would come up with suggestions on which PC to buy and with which configuration. But I was day-dreaming, an endless list of questions started, one after another. I am not sure how many questions I answered, I was about to give up but then I thought to finish it up as I have already answered so many . and guess what . at next question website decided not to repsond. I was there all irritated and annoyed on what just happened to me.

Determined to find out what this mystery is actually about, I opened a new browser window and hit the URL again. I thought may be there is an option to by-pass that stupid questinnaire and we can directly go to some useful information. To my utter delight, there is nothing on this website except that questionnaire. Since I could not get past this questionnaire, I can not tell you what information you will find there.

*Epilogue -

I really wonder who created this website and for what purpose. I just hope there is some navigation which I have missed and which can actually take a visitor to relevant information. Trust me, I really hope so . and would be really delighted if somebody can discover that.

If anybody is still interested in this website, I would request you to please tell me what the total number of questions in that questionnaire. I would advise you to visit this website either on weekend or better apply for a leave on that day, God knows who long will it take to provide you with the information you are looking for.

Even the website, I created in my spare time turned out to be lot better than this, at least it does justice to its purpose of providing the relevant information.

" I answered the first 13 questions without any hitch at all,  the 14th question about the type of data i’d store, seemed not to go further as the next button was not responding. I refreshed 5-6 times and the button worked. This is the last question of the questionnaire, a reccomendation chart was displayed next with a possible price range. At the end of the page, u can select the region and city of choice to select the dealer. a long list of dealers for delhi rolled out for me. u can even email/sms them from the site. You can also check out official websites of lenovo, hp, etc or can go to compareindia.com "

*What I found - Interesting!

*Based on Aakshat comments, I again visited this website and I discovered a rather interesting thing which I have never come across before. When you come to the last question which is about the type of data you would store on your PC, you choose your options and try to click on the center of the button "Next", it just does not work. It shows the arrow and not the interactive hand sign which is generally there if an object is clickable. But if you just drag the mouse pointer to the upper part of the button, interactive hand sign will come and it will allow you to click and proceed further. Only upper part of this Next button is clickable:) . Isn't that really interesting. I hope they fix it soon.

Still the information that comes next is not that exhaustive. Though some people may find list of vendors pretty useful which is available on this website.

All in all, I was not really impressed by the information provided.
