As we all know, food/nutrition is the most important/vital factor for mantaining the health of an human being. So consuming adequate and balanced diet is very much essential.


First of all I will give few tips about eating habbits.


1) Breakfast is a must and is the most important diet for the whole day. It is advised to never skip the breakfast. It is usually very common in school going children.


2) Splitting the meals.Eating meals in small amounts at multiple times ( about 5 times a day) is very much healther than eating big meals once or twice a day.


3) Soon after consuming food it is best to avoid sleeping/lying down or doing any exercise. It is best to take reat sitting for a while.


Next is about consumption of adequate amount of all nutrients.


1) The food must contain adequate amount of all the essential macronutrients ( include carbohydrates, proteins and fats) as well as micronutrients ( vitamins and minerals) .


2) Carbohydrates and fats are essential for energy/ATP production. Eat the right amount of calories based on the lifestyle ( sedentary, moderate or heavy) . Excess calories may lead to overweight and decresed may lead to underweight.


Cereals are the main source for energy in our normal diet.


3) Protein is very much essential for maintaining almost all physiological funtions in the body as well as for muscle bulk.


For proteins, foods like pulses , meat and fishes are advised.


4) Friuts and vegetables especially green leafy vegetables are good source for vitamins minerals and also calorie.


5) Another thing to take care is to decrease the consumtion of saturated fats and excess sugar.


6) Decreasing salt consumption is also must for long term health benifits.


7) Finally another very very important thing to consider is drinking plenty of water. Atleast 6-8 glasses of water must be consumed daily.


Food saftey measures we must follow are


1) Always proper washing the foods and hands before consumtion is a must.


2) Whenever food is to be kept for several hours, it is best advised to refrigerate the food.


3) Always consume properly cooked food. Cooking food itself removes most of the pathogens.


So for a healthy and proper being, nutritive food and safe consumption should be followed
