Maruti-A good indian car

If you have decided to buy a 2nd hand maruti car then I guess you have made a right decision for a variety of reasons as below:

  1. MARUTI car is cheap and affordable, having sleek looks.

  2. A more cheaper 2nd hand car would be Fiat/ambassador which only some crackpots or perverts would go for it because they are not cars, they are vintage trucks.

  3. A 10 year old maruti should cost you around 80-90000. I myself own a 1990 model.Runs pretty well.

  4. Whatever the seller /garage mechanics say about the car, take it with a pinch of salt. Both parties will vehemently:'Lie' in order to advocate the deals in their favour. Seller will say the car is in perfect running condition etc etc, your mechanic who assesses this car shall say its full of faults. Both are only partially right.

  5. But do keep in mind that after you have made a second hand purchase, you will have to exhaust another 15, 000/- for immidiate repairs, conditioning etc. Please remember that if the car was in perfectly good condition, why would the owner should try selling it? Got the point!

  6. The last reason for buying a MARUTI second hand car is that you have no choice. Can you possibly get a honda or a zen or opel for as low as 1 to 1.5 lacs?

  7. And lastly, never buy a VAN.It's a dangerous piece of TIN, moreover on an head-on collision you are at high risk and appearance is extremely UGLY.Its not in the C A R  category. Only people with a pea-brain and penny-wise pound foolish would go for a maruti van either a brand new or a 2nd hand one(chuckle, chuckle)
