In today's world of fast food and very different diets, constipation may be a problem. One solution to this is Fybogel Orange.
This is a soluble powder that comes in individual sachets that assists in the restoration of your body's regular bowel movements. Each sachet contains one dose and has 3.5gm Ispaghula husk BP as the main active constituent. Also contained in each sachet is citric acid, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, povidone and orange flavouring. The Fybogel Orange drink is coloured with the natural beta-carotene colourant and is sweetened by aspartame and saccharin sodium. The packs of Fybogel Orange contain either 10 or 30 individual sachets. As mentioned above, the Ispaghula husk is a natural plant material that is high in fibre. It actually works by absorbing water from food passing through your digestive system, thus helping your body to work normally. If you need to increase your fibre intake in your diet then Fybogel Orange is ideal for you.
This can be for the following conditions:-
Irritable bowel syndrome.
Colostomy or ileostomy.
Haemorrhoids (commonly known as piles).
Anal fissure.
Persistent diarrhoea.
Ulcerative colitis.
You should not take Fybogel Orange if the following conditions apply:-
If you have phenylketonuria (as Fybogel is sweetened with aspartame).
Blockage of the bowel.
DOSAGE
For adults and children over 12: 1 sachet twice a day (one in the morning and one in the evening). For children 6 to 12 years old: Half to 1 level 5ml spoon twice a day (as above). If problems persist for 3 days then you should take your child to the doctor. For all people, please take Fybogel Orange with water. If you do take too much then you must drink plenty of water. Some side effects may occur when taking Fybogel. The main two are flatulence (commonly known as wind) or bloating.
STORAGE
Keep Fybogel in a dry place below 30C. Just to let you know. Fybogel also comes in Lemon flavour. I do recommend this product to anyone suffering from constipation.
