Its a Black tea Beverage from the Cola Cola Company . Though I have said in my many reviews  that sugar laden drinks are mini-health- time-bombs.

I also agree I have said several times never to buy any product that has  sugar as the first ingredient, even this one has  sugar as  the first ingredient, obviously after water .

All health gurus including Dr Mark Hyman, Dr professor Lustig and Nurse and cancer survivor Tana Amen, Julie daniluk, The writer of meals that heal inflammation assert strongly we should never consume liquid calories, which this 250 ml beverage definitely is .

Dr Hyman says its breaks one of  the rules of healthy eating . You end up eating even more he says and is a double blow to the obesity epidemic . Agreed  but today ill will not focus a lot on the health concerns which are a taken and talk about this beverage only in terms of taste  component .

This beverage is just.1% black tea solids suspended in water and sugar solution with a very pleasing and strong nature identical peach flavour  and some other nature identical flavouring substances along with acidity regulators without using any preservatives,

I am thinking how is  .1  percent tea  solids enough to call it a tea beverage . But it felt like real black tea. The drink is not carbonated but extremely satisfying, The peach flavour is  very strong and seems very real  and is extremely refreshing .

I am wondering does  it have some real caffeine if  it contains just .1% tea solids .

For once I can tell you if I overlook all the health concerns for a while, it's probably a heck of a good drink that I will repeat when I wish to break the healthy eating rules . The sweetness doesn't seem overdone . The tea flavour is also well balanced and not too bitter but mild  and quite pleasing .

Some of  the juices and drinks in the market seem to carry extra  refined sugar but this one was quite balanced . I brought this 250ml pet bottle for Just Rupees 9 in an offer, though the MRP is higher .

My son who shared the drink with me said in the end he felt his teeth a little sour and acid rubbed, after consuming it, it's possible the acidity regulators  have been used intensely .

Its not uncommon to lose a little tooth enamel after some such drinks .

This food(or drink) is neither, mineralizing or alkalizing or  real . That's how  food  should be, keep it very occasional in moderation . Though superficially its very refreshing and satisfying.

In the end as always let me tell everyone, you, me or anyone, can't  reverse the side effects of a bad diet or calorie rich / energy dense foods by an extra hour on the treadmill  . It's a myth.

It  takes  one to walk up 20 floors to burn one medium sized chocolate cookie off . But yes the more muscle you have the more calories you burn, even while resting or sleeping .

I find it very difficult to restrain myself from advising people against junk and processed food .Poor diet alone according to Dr Aseem Malhotra has  done more  damage than smoking and alcoholism combined. Which means a person who consumes natural whole foods mainly  and smokes or drinks occasionally  is far better off compared to a person who abuses food and indulges in a poor diet which consists of  fake foods or food like substances / factory food but doesn't smoke or drink  . Beat that .
