Features are limited & controls are poor. Review on Freak Racing

Freak Racing would have been an excellent game if the developer had put in much efforts with the controls. It is a racing game and players can play it in a career and race the world mode. In career mode a player can sharp his skills and can observe how to take turns, jump and beat other players. When played as race the world then a player competes with players from around the world and race with them in the real time. When a player wins he progresses to a new country and new track. Tracks varies with countries and strategy to play in every level is totally different from the previous one due to different tracks and obstacles. When a players wins a race he is awarded coins based on his rank. The reward varies with rank 1, 2 & 3, the earned coins can be used to upgrade the vehicle in the garage and to buy new skills.

The layout is good and so is the design of the game. The vehicles looks realistic and so the locations are. The layout of the game throughout a race is awesome and it gives a feel as one is racing in the real world. However, the layout of menu is bit confusing and I found it bit difficult to select the desired race track.

There are a number of features & functions. Players are given option to select the joystick mode or the mobile mode. The joystick option is the best as a player gets good control mainly on the sharp turns. However, none of the controls are completely reliable and most of the times doesn't give an instant response. When a vehicle gets out of the track it is very difficult to continue the race, there is no option available to continue the race immediately. Coins are earned as rewards and can be used to upgrade the car.

Due to its poor controls this game has failed to create an everlasting impression. Also, the statistics shown after the completion of a game are not accurate. There were instances when I finished first but then the score board shown my rank as 3. There are few glitches in the game that need to be rectified to give the best and accurate figures. Also, there are no special features are given that can be used to accelerate during a game. There is no Nitro feature and players have to finish a race just with the joystick.
