Dear friends, I want to share few things with people who are going to buy diesel car swift or ford ikon. Diesel engine are slightly costlier to maintain after you have 20000 km done. Normal paid service of ford is around Rs. 2400. Good thing with ford is that they manufacture their own diesel engine. But maruti purchase engine from fiat earlier and now from volxwegon.
My father bought ford ikon TDCI last three month back and it had run around 6000km till now I am very surprised with its mileage . It's giving 25kpl on less crowded city drive without AC and 28.5kpl in highways. It is very comfortable and it's looks great.
