This so called dating website is run by a fraud part time actress Varsha Agnihotri. This is a travel company. She organises overpaid trips in the name of making singles meet. When she does not get traction she sends out emails saying they have removed xyz member as they were against community standards. Please do not fall for her marketing gimmicks. I was trying to book myself a slot for one such trip to Amritsar where she kept on sending last minute emailers, extending deadlines and claiming she has removed people who were against community standards. Please see my detailed harrowing experience with her:
1. I tried to book this trip for which all my payment methods were failing. It surprised me to see that there is no data privacy maintained. The founder had the audacity to call me and ask to make a payment to her bank account.
2. For a single room 2 day trip to Amristar(Holiday Inn) sharing room was 21000 and single room was 29000.
3. She kept calling and messaging me till the time I did not make the payment to her bank account.
4. I paid her 20 days in advance for the trip.
5. On the group, she suddenly started asking for ID proofs saying that the hotel requires it. Whereas we all know that ID proof is only required during check in.
6. I had an exigency at the office due to which I had to work on weekends and was not able to join the trip. As she hadn't made the booking I called her asking for refund.
7. She made random claims that the hotel will not reimburse. This was 10 days prior to trip. Strange that MMT has 24 hr cancellation and so do most hotels.
8. I asked her I could speak to them in case that was an issue. Suddenly her stance changed and she started telling me that another girl has dropped out whose brother has died. Funny she asks me to think about her while asking for refund. How am I concerned here? I do not even know the girl.
9. Then the crook has the audacity to tell me that she has strings to pull in my company and she can put in a word for me.
10. I tell her bluntly to mind her own business and give clarity for refund.
11. She tells me she needs a week and she does not work on weekends.
12. I have her a 4-day timeline. She neither called me nor gave me any clarity instead removed me from WhatsApp group after taking my money. She had clearly found a replacement and did not want to tell me about it.
13. She did not issue a receipt for my payment to her despite continuous reminders.
14. I realized that she is going to keep my money hence told her I will join, she should add me to the group else she will bear legal consequences and the receipt has to be sent.
15. Her receipt reads single occupancy room charges 29000/-. Seriously! She charged 29k for rooms for cabs, her commission and here she is manipulating receipt, not paying taxes and running a business.
I burnt my hands trusting her. Here is a fake company. Please do not fall for her gimmicks. This website is fraud.
