How to become worst from bad….? One has to know this from the following people whom I am going to mention in my review. They are just like a fly in a room, so insignificantly significant, that it irritates you hell out. They do the same to their audiences through their movies. So coming to the point here they are :
1. Esha Deol :
“ My Dad says that I look like a doll on screen “Ugh !!! Not the dad’s fault but every father would say the same thing for his daughter. Talent seems to be miles away and She has a dying ambition to become a great actress. I think she should look upon her mother to know what it takes to give a performance. Neither she has the freshness nor the innocence which would attract the audience. Dedication and involvement in the character is what she seems to be ignorant at. She needs to do a lot of homework before nurturing the hope of becoming a great actress. Tortured to death……was my state when I went to see her debut film. The Deol tag did not work for this lady. But then Ms. Deol, you ought to have loads of talent with it to win your audiences.
2. Kareena Kapoor :
Now what to say about Ms. Kapoor, she is not smart but over smart….She does not act but overacts and to top it all loads of attitude. She looked quite good and promising in Refugee but after she just could not do justice or say barely act in any of her movies. When she entered the film industry, she was considered a threat to Aishwarya Rai. A threat !!! I was stunned a threat in who is the worst ? I never like the way she carried herself, her way of clothes (does she adorn any ? ) and the way she talks…she irritates me no end. She was the only dignified actress to bag all big roles from big directors and then what happened to all their films…? To name a few, Subhash Ghai’s Yaadein, Sooraj Barjatya’s MPKDH etc…All I can say that…..Ms. Pooh what keeps you going is just the surname after your name and I don’t think so the kapoor magic would work for you long…so start thinking of something else…before its too late!!!
3. Aishwarya Rai :
“ God did make this beauty in his leisure time” May be she is the ultimate beauty to the men folk, she may be the dream girl to many of her fans, but sorry to say, in terms of acting she is zero. I find her very plastic. Sometimes she shows her expressions as if she is forced to do so. If she has to smile, then she takes care that her smile does not go beyond a particular limit and say if she has to do a Namaste then again her hands move in a particular style which makes her look more artificial.. Nothing seems to be natural with her in acting. It seems as if still she is working on a ramp or say she is onstage for the grand finale of Ms.India Contest. Ms. Rai has to wake up now at least !!! . Sanjay Leela Bhansali could take out some good work from her in “HDDCS”. Any movie, you can see her in her same style, you can never expect something different from her.
4. Twinkle Khanna :
She has made the audiences life happier by quitting films and managing home and baby. I missed her debut film “Barsaat” just because I was so confused between Bobby and Twinkle that I could never make out as to who is who ? so thought of just omitting it. But went through the torture called “Jaan” starring twinkle and Ajay devgan. Her face was so expressionless that all her efforts to put the right emotion at the right moment during the right shot went always wrong. It was not her fault, She was trying to do her best but she was at the wrong place. Good that she took the right decision in life and settled. She is better where she is and we too are happy for you.
5. Mahima Chaudhry :
May be Subhash Ghai’s search for the fresh face and talent ended with Mahima for his film “Pardes” But from here begins my search for the actress in Mahima. After such a long journey of films like Pardes, Dil Kya Kare, Kurukshetra, Dhadkan, Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar etc.. I am still searching.. very hopeful of finding her someday. Till then she can gracefully be in my list of worst 5 actresses. I find her dialogue delivery very pathetic, when she has to cry and shout the same time, she seems to stretch her voice so much, that her voice seems like donkey braying at the other end. Her involvement in the character that she potrays is zero maybe that’s the reason the character that she plays looses all its charm in the movie. In the movie “Deewane” where she plays the second lead, she sacrifices her love wherein she gets the maximum chance of attracting the audiences sympathy but her performance was so emotionless hardly anybody could have remembered her when walking out of the theatre.
Apart from the above, many actresses like Sonam, Sangeeta Bijlani, Ayesha Jhulka, Anu al, Bhagyashree, Kim Sharma, Shamita Shetty, Amrita Arora, etc. do fit in this category for me. Mostly one film wonders, they did get lot of name and fame instantly but then it did not last long as only genuineness and talent can go places.
