Chetan Bhagat is a popular writer but what is it that makes him popular? It's the fact that his books are relatable and easy going and don't revolve around complicated words and technical jargon. This makes it easier for the general audience including people of all ages to read his books with ease.
Five Point Someone is an interesting book. It's the debut book by Chetan Bhagat. It revolves around his life in IIT. There is a lot that you can learn and take away from the book - the importance of friendship, things that you shouldn't do in IIT etc. It's a poignant, emotional joyride which takes you through Chetan Bhagat's life. The usage of witty and humorous dialogues adds another layer of excitement to the book. Overall, I'd say that even though this isn't a "pure work of literature", it's something that you can easily pick up during your leisurely time. The movie 3 Idiots is actually based on the book like most of Bhagat's books.
