Good Looking AND Rich! Bingo!

Looking around for a topic to write?and lo and behold, I came across this one!

Now the thing is, since the topic is most ?handsome?, I believe we are mostly judging appearances?and I like to use the word attractive rather than handsome, as handsome is just too narrow, and on the other hand, there are a number of factors that can make one look ?attractive?.

But the thing is, I usually get attracted to an actor once a performance of theirs makes me sit up and take notice or if I like the character they portrayed. Therefore, there are some that you grow a liking to based on many reasons besides the ?first look?.

Also, title is a ?borrowed? line from Kal Ho Na Ho, which I liked...

Not ordered

Abishek Bachchan

His debut vehicle Refugee I liked. I adored his bearded look and the kurta pyjamas, but since I knew so little about him, I gave only a fleeting glance. After Refugee came bakwaas movies like Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Shararat and other movies of the same ilk where he didn?t look that great. He looked too young and immature and so, he needed to either grow a beard or change the hairstyle!

Then came Main Prem Ki Deewani Hun, a bomb, but I fell in love with him then and there!! He didn?t grow a beard, neither did he change his hairstyle, but his persona in that as a strong, silent, tall, dark and handsome, courteous and shy Prem?was to die for!! His charisma was irresistible!

From then on, I was an ardent fan! I mean, you still are attracted towards him in Yuva, he manages to look damn good with his beard, and ?gunda? look! In Dhoom, he looked so cool as the Cop, I loved his sunnies! Sarcastic humour suits him well. Just like his Dad, I suppose!

Strong. Silent. Dark. Handsome. Mysterious. Sarcastic humour.

Ajay Devgan

I think Phool Aur Kaante was his debut. In addition, his acting was quite poor, looks-wise...(in the words of Barney bhai)?puh-leeez!!! No way!

He was good in Ishq, Pyaar To?, Dil Kya Kare?but no one cared.

Then came Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and I also gave away my Dil that I keep reserve for Movie Stars! :P His performance made the critics sit up and take notice. His expressive eyes revealed his anxiety, pain and worry. Wonderful!

And then we witnessed a plethora of fantastic performances by Devgan. After HDDCS, he updated his look?and looked smashing in Company, Qayamat, Gangajal!! I also loved him in Legend? in my eyes, the turban suited him well. I loved the dyed hair, or when he has the glasses or even the moustache!! His quiet performances steal the show, and many hearts although now, one cannot help but be attracted to his earlier performances!

Sarcastic humour also seems to suit him.

The ability to express all emotions through his eyes makes him damn attractive and that has a kind of haunting and intriguing feeling attached?if you get the gist.

Strong. Silent. Dark. Reserved. Shy. Intriguing persona. Mature.

Salman Khan

His debut was in Biwi Ho To Aisi? as a Supporting Actor. It pains me to say it, but his performance and looks were horrifying! I am sooo grateful for Sooraj Barjatya to let him star him in Maine Pyaar Kiya. He looked better there.

Then there were other films like Karan Arjun, Andaz Apna Apna where he acted great, but looked average.

1994 saw the release of the blockbuster, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..? and omg!! I fell in love with him! He just looked too good, without flexing his muscles much?his smile is one to die for!!

Once you?re a fan, it is impossible to turn against him, such is his ?aura?, you manage to like every performance?, which makes many shoddy movies bearable! And when you look back at his past movies, you cannot help but love him, especially in AAA!

Salman has a fantastic fashion sense?and even though I don?t much care for the body, he still has a great body to boot! He is the trendsetter for Bollywood.

Sallu is also extremely loyal, and whilst this can cause problems, it is still one of the qualities that make him so attractive!

He also has the ability to look coy and still hypnotise women!

Hot. Funny. Stylish. Expressive. Loyal

Bobby Deol

5/5 from me! He?s Punjabi with the Italian good looks?what more could I wish for?! I loved his ?rebel? image with his long hair, he looked soo cute! And that lopsided smile in his first few movies?sigh.

His acting improved?and with that, I also started to like him more and more. Humraaz did it for me; the way he portrayed that suave image of a business tycoon was mind blowing! His hair, glasses, suits, accent, dialogue delivery, stance, posture...the elegance and sophistication was the icing on the already delicious cake! I loved his persona in that movie!

Once you fall for him, everything looks good in his movies, you tend to see the bright side?I mean now, I love his dancing style! It?s so hatke yaar! And his fashion sense is quite good. Emotionally charged movies like Bardasht and Kismat, although they didn?t fare that well at the Box Office, they still effectively highlighted his hidden talent for a passionate performance! He is also one of the few actors who can express so well through their eyes!

Bobby is also a gentleman, preferring to stay away from the Media and various other scandals.

Dashing Good Looks. Mature. Reserved. Attractive. Expressive

Akshay Kumar

Just tell me, how could I exclude him?! I mean, he has everything one would want?he was a model = good looks; a chef = good cook; martial arts instructor, and black belt = can save your @ss; Bollywood star = rich and famous; charitable person = good at heart. Plus, he is also a Punjabi, which is a bonus for me! Amazing huh?! :)

I loved his trademark unruly hair and an interesting sense of fashion in the 1990s. On him, the most outrageous of outfits looked good!

There were many Khiladi movies, and in them, I loved his fashion sense and dance style?and his unruly hair! I even loved his big glasses in Dil To Pagal Hai!

He too has updated his look and looks hot! His matured acting in many of his movies has many girls going goo-gaa-ga-ga over him. Versatility is his middle name, and that too is an attractive quality?he can make you laugh, cry, sympathise and more!

His smile can brighten any day, and his good-natured persona is hard to miss! These days, he is also more stylish, and looks the best when in Uniform.

He is a good-looking Punjabi who loves Aloo Palak and may also star in a Punjabi movie!!

Striking Good Looks. Funny. Gorgeous. Suave. Generous. Hypnotising

There could have been more inclusions, like, but?ah well, one cannot have the cake and eat it too! :D

Since this list was comprised only of actors in the ?modern? era, mostly because this is the period I was born in, it is only fair that I mention 5 good-looking heroes of the days gone by.

But due to MS's failure to recognise that my review in actual fact was only 7 900 characters, I have to write the names of the 5 actors in the Comments Section

My apologies
