Say CHEEEESE!!!!!!. Review on Five Best Songs of Shaan

The only singer who can put a smile in the songs which he is sings is Shaantanu Mukherji or Shaan for short.From melancholic songs to romantic songs, from masti-filled songs to sentimental songs you name it and he has sung it all with the same ease and charm.

He started his career in the pop-scene.He did remixes then along with his sister Sagarika, Sunita Rao, Biddu and various other artists.The remixes then were pleasant to hear and watch unlike the present remixes.One of his most famous remix is Roop tera Mastana which is according to me one of the best remixes ever.

Shaan's first solo venture was Love-ology.The title song captured the attention of every teenager then as they could relate the song to their own-selves.He made his debut as a playback singer in Bollywood through the movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.His second solo venture Tanha Dil was a very big hit.There was a gap of 3 years between his 2 solo-ventures.Then came his album Aksar.From Aksar it could be seen that Shaan had transformed as a singer and a lyricist to a great extent.In the Bollywood front he captivated the audience with his charming and brilliant voice.He is undoubtedly my favourite singer.I like every song of his but the 5 songs which top my list are .

1.Woh Pehli Baar jab hum mile

Haton mein haath jab hum chale

Hogaya yeh dil deewana

Hotha hai pyaar kya kisne jaana.

This song is from the movie Pyaar mein Kabhi Kabhi.This song and the other song Musu Musu were big hits. Shaan became a rage throughout the country.People found him very cute and adorable.Woh Pehli baar is a romantic number.It emotes the feelings of a person who has just fallen in love and who describes his first meeting with his lover and all his feelings for her.

The lines'Khilti kaliyon mein dhundhu bas tere disha.main na jaanu hai aakhir hai kya karwa.tujhe dekhu to aaye lab pe khushi.Khuda na kare ho kabhi duriya' are my favourite part of the song.

If Shaan wouldnt have sung this song then I beleive the very newness and the essence of this song would be missing.This song is one of the best numbers of Shaan.

2.Dil ne tumko chun liya hai

Tum bhi usko chuno na

Khwab koyi dekhta hai, tum bhi sapne buno na

Dil yeah mera tumse kuch keh raha hai SUNO NA.

This song is from the movie Jhankaar Beats.It's a very sweeet and an extremely romantic number.This song aptly gives out the feelings of a person in love who hasn't yet expressed it to his lover and the confusion and the agitation he undergoes.The lyrics are what which makes this song very beautiful.The tune is actually somewhat high pitched and Shaan has done a great job.The pain of the lover could be easily felt through Shaan's voice.

'Dur ho kar bhi dur tum nahi ho.Paas ho lekin paas tum nahi ho.tanha tanha samaa.mehki mehki hawaa.keh raha hai jahan jo suno na'.

These are the lines which I find very cute in the song.It's one the most beautiful songs with equally beautiful lyrics in the recent times.

3.Gum sum ho kyun

Paas aao na

Ruthe ho kyun

Maan jao na.

This song is from Shaan's private album Tanha Dil.The lyrics of all the songs in this album have been penned by Shaan.The lyrics are extremely good and cute.This song is really the right kind of song to Manao your lover.That's what this song is about, saying sorry to your beloved who is for some reason angry.I like the whole of lyrics of the song so it would be definitely hard to say which is my favourite part of the song.The innocence and the agony of a lover could be easily felt while listening to this song thanks to Shaan's lovely voice.

Aaah my favourite song.It's such a soft and a lovely song.It is from the movie Lakeer.The lyrics are so perfect and so lovely.This song exactly exhibits the feelings of a person who has just fallen in love and explains their joy and wishes and what they would like to do.The whole of the lyrics once again are lovely in this song.Shaan sung this song terrificly.The song sounded very chweeeeet.Courtesy-Shaan.

5.Kasam ki kasam hai kasam se

Humko Pyaar Hai Sirf Tumse

Ab Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Phir Humse.

This song is from Mein Prem ki Diwani Hoon.Once again it's a romantic song obviously sung superbly by Shaan.

'Kuch Ishaaron Mein Tumne Humse Jo Yeh Kahan Hai.Ab Yakin Aa Raha Hai Tumko Bhi Kuch Hua Hai.Kyon Tumko Dekhte Hain Kya Dil Mein Sochte Hai.Toofan Jo Uth Raha Hai Hum Usko Rokte Hai'.

This song emotes the wonderful feelings of 2 people in love.The song is really fabulous.

Item: Tanha Dil and Bhool ja are the best of Shaan's songs.I would rather do injustice to those beautiful songs if I describe them.They are too beautiful to be captured in my review!
