BRAVEHEART (1995)
Firstly I think , as a director for just the second time ,
mel gibson has done an excellent job.though the end is depressing its on the whole worth a second and third watch.
the movie depicts passion , courage and emotions especially when mel talks to his people that was soul-stirring .
AMERICAN BEAUTY (1999)
Sam mendes did an amazing job for the first time as a director.kevins role was well enacted by him .it was tragic , funny and sad . you have to explore the film deeply and not just surface it only then will you get the true meaning.the element of sucess lies in the individuality
and uniqness of each character
american beauty makes you realize the inner beauty and points out how we neglect our truest innermost feelings and go on to hide them.its a powerful film.
SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991)
It won umpteen awards which it rightly deserved.
it was amazing how she persuaded ''hannibal'' to catch the serial killer, although some scenes are rather atrocious to watch they are nevertheless mind blowing and kep u on the edge even while you watch it another time yet .
THE EDGE
I still feel at a loss of words when I recollect to describe about the film .its three cheers to anthony hopkins
all the way. ofcourse alec and mcpherson did well too.
but joly old anthony takes the cake . his knowledge and fearlessness was very encouraging especially in the scene where the bear nearly gets them.
his patience and trust and also his personality are super-duper.
after having done everything he could for them to save their lives he gives them the credit in the end .that was the most touching part of the movie.
i loved it crazily .
TITANIC
I think its beautiful and fascinating .
my heart could go on and on about the song and the movie.
caprio and winslet were cute and impressive
the picturization , facts and details ,
romance and passion.
all were done and shown well
