Last weekend, on the insistence of my teenaged daughter, I took my family to watch the movie, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
It is a pleasant experience watching such a movie with the family, a movie that depicts the forgotten values by indians long back.
Acting wise, all the actors fit tailor-made for their roles, whereas a special mention needs of Salman who displays his histrionics with ease.
Technically, the art direction is brilliant and the Seesh Mahal set stands as an example of the art director's craftsmanship. The music is lilting both at the songs and also at the background.
The highlight of the film is prem's character, which deserves a special mention for his values and respect towards our culture and tradition. In a time when family values are being continuously forgotten by us and out of our movies, a film or two like this may bring memorize us about the real Indians. Kudos to Barjatya for making such a movie.
A must watch for the family audience.
