My builder has provided Fenesta glass windows & doors in my flat. All the locks of the windows broke and stopped working with in few months after installation. I visited their office in Bangalore to get the locks replaced and asked their staff what if the new locks also breaks. Their staff accepted that the earlier installed locks are of poor quality and of faulty design. I also understood from them that they won't sell the accessories. We have to call their customer care and their personnel will come and replace the accessories and provide service and we have to pay them what ever they ask.
This is a clear monopoly and robbery. To replace the window locks, I didn't need their service person. But since they are not selling the accessories, I had to ask their technician to visit my place and pay him Rs. 850 (Rs. 250 as service charge) towards replacement of locks. After replacement, I contacted the customer care and explained the issue to them, but the customer care was very rude and bluntly answered.
I did not expect such poor quality/ faulty design window locks from a reputed (now I doubt whether it is really reputed) window/door manufacturer. Well, every one makes mistake. But once you know that you made a mistake, you should rectify it free of cost. But the latter also not happened. I certainly am disappointed with Fenesta. Any big business will collapse if they don't provide quality products and disappoint customers. Hope Fenesta will learn this soon.
