Out of the several things fascinating me these days is the service provided by the Fast Track Cabs in Chennai. They are prompt, honest, reliable, punctual and sincere. They do not lie (unlike so many other cab services).
They will make themselves available for the service at the earliest possible, and if they cannot, they do inform well in advance and do not make the booking at all. If they can be appropriately available after 45 minutes, they will very well verbalise that instantly and will not give you a superficial time of 15-20 minutes. And then it is your decision whether to go for this or not.
The charges are quite optimum as well. They charge Rs100 for the first five kilometres and then Rs10 for every additional kilometre for a non-a/c cab during day times and the same is Rs125 for the first five kilometres during night times. For an a/c one, the charges are a little higher than this. Rs120 for the first five and Rs12 for the additional per kilometre during the day and 25% extra during night hours.
You are given a booking number as soon as you make your booking. The same is even sent to you by an SMS from fast track. The billing amount with bill numbers and all the details are also sent by an sms.
I have used the fast track service for more than 20 times here and I actually appreciate it a lot. The drivers are pretty decent as well. They do even pull the trolley for you in the airport while you are unloading the luggage from the cab.

The service can be accessed anywhere in and around Chennai (nearby places) like Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, etc depending upon the availability on time.
