A nice movie to enjoy. Review on Fanaa

Fanaa - a different kind of movie. Amir khan in lead role, as a terrorist after he performed a patriotic role in Rang de basanti.

he paired with kajol. It is a cameback movie for Kajol.. Its shot in Red Fort and other areas in New Delhi and the kashmir part is taken in Poland, whic is also snowful. because of inconviences in security, its not shoot in Kashmir..

the story starts like this.. Zooni, a Kashmiri girl, the daughter of Zulficar Ali and Nafisa is a blind girl living with her parents. she travels to delhi, for the first time, without her parents, to participate a dance programme on republic day events in red fort. there she met Rehan Khan, who comes as a tourist guide, who make flirtings with her. friends who came with kajol warn her, but she started loving him.

He is also caring towards her.. the dance programme finished, and the girls left from railway station, but rehan visits there and took back Zooni with him. finally they decided to marry and return to kashmir. Zooni tells this to her parents thro phone and they say they'll come to delhi.. At the same time, the couple visits an opthalmologist, for Zooni's treatment. the doctor advised to have a surgery. She made herself a good blue coloured wollen sweater for rehan and gave it to him before she enters the operation theatre. When slowly recovering from surgery after removing the bandage, before seeing Rehan, she is told that, Rehan died in a bomb attack on Rashtrapathi Bavan. her parents console her and took back to her along with them.

But the reality is, Rehan is a Independent Kashmir Front terrorist, fighting for liberation of Kashmir from Both India and Pakistan, who actually came for bombing and eventually fall in love with Zooni. he is the most operative of his organisation. Really he loved Zooni but because of his mission, he moved awya from her. He tears of the photos taken with Zooni and went away leaving her memories..

then years later, his organisation is in a mssion to form a powerful explosive device, with its parts stolen from India, Pak, Russia.. At the same time, Zooni returns to Kashmir giving birth to a boy, naming him as Rehan. WIth one powrful and important part missing, Rehan is in mission to get that., disguising himself as Indian Army official. he collapsed the helicopter with a hand grenade and at the same time he is injured also.

Malini Tyagi, a special officer of intelligence department knows who is that and is in operation to arrest him. He got a shelter in a house in that place. when the door opens, he is shocked to see that Zooni standing there.. But as Zooni didnt Rehan not even for once, and her father too. he didnt disclose anything. On seeing his indian military dress, Zooni and her father who is a doctor helped him to recover from injuries. Her son also turns affectionate with Rehan..

Then Rehan admits himself to Zooni who he is, though he is unable to explain what he did for the past 7 years. then they marry simply presided by her father. Still he loves her deeply and she too. Soon after that, in a TV broadcast, there are some news abt who is Rehan, with his photo. Zooni and her father came to know abt this seperately. her father tried to stopped him and taking him to his army friend house so that, he can use radio transmitter there to reveal his identity. but accidentally, her father dies. he then suddenly communicates to his organisation commander. Her father's army friend find him there. but Rehan kils hims too.

then returns back to her house without saying that her father died, saying that he is in army officer's house. but after few hours, Zooni comes to know that her father died, by seeing his deadbody under ice. She suspects him and She makes her mind to reveal the identity and existenc of Rehan to intelligence officers who are in manhunt. she immediately goes to army officer's house and informs about that. They arrive there appreciating Zooni to inform that earlier... Rehan finds Zooni there asking her to come with him, to lead a happy future life, asking the "trigger" -the important missing part, so that he can give it to his grandfather who is coming in a helicopter.. But unable to stop and convince him, Zooni shoots Rehan and kills her. the grandfather coming in helicopter and targets Zooni but before that Malini came in another helicopter and shoots him..

At the end, Zooni and the boy Rehan where in the grave of Rehan, Zooni saying, "its easy to choose between good and bad, but very very difficult to choose between two good and two bad things"..

Thank god I got the movie with a subtitle so I understood it well.

Music composed by Jatin Lalit. Totally 5 tracks. Among which Chand SI farish and Mere Hath Main become super hit.. Those are my favorite too..

one aspiring thing about the movie is the stunning beauty of Kajol, even she performed this movie after a long gap, and the cinematography. the picturization is superb, very much colorful.

I justifed myself after seeing this movie as follows, "its better to be die by the hands of the true lover than being a terrorist killing many lives or getting caught to police, so only she kills him though she loves him truly"
