Works but makes skin very dry. Review on Fair and Lovely Anti Marks Cream

I am a Male with ruff life & ruff skin. I used this product previous version and its very simply removed the marks and dark spots with in a 15 days of time. Few months back I brought this product for 80Rs(for my face and neck area) its a new version of its cousin . And the results are horrible.(I attached a image of my terrible skin results)

Just after first use for 7 days to remove light pigmentation and few pimple marks I faced the very first "breakout" this is so bad. This is strange to me coz I used this product last version for a year never had this much bad "breakout" earlier, but it made little dry skin before all the blackness breaks and relieves new skin. This this new version is worse to me, every 10-15 days of use( I am using daily at night) there is 4-6 days of "breakout" this is really disgusting, my face becomes like a drought place somewhere in desert and I can't talk with wide open mouth and smile, I only use face wash that too hardly 1 time in these breakouts due to extreme dry skin, had to drink 12 ltrs of water daily . I had to quite my business or had to cover my face in those days or ultimately used lot of Vaseline to hide these "dry skin", and the top of all there there is "black patches" here and there all over my face neck where ever I applied it. Of-course its totally got away(dried and fallen) but it took 4-6 days for a singe breakout. But thats unacceptable my face looked like "Oh akccke"

I later decreased the amount I applied and still the same issue. I stopped the product for a month and everything came to normal. I am frustrated and decided not to use the product. Now I brought my favorite Azelaic acid 5% cream(natural & dermatologists mostly prescribe them as ultimate for both acne&marks) but its quite expensive costs 100Rs for just 20Grams cream but much better than this. But U have to keep it in a cool place.

Any way its a good product removes pigmentation and pimple marks and lightens the deep marks but watch out for these breakouts, believe me the breakout is so great U will afraid to look in to the mirror. I don't know whether its my skin that not reacting properly to this or the cream had some powerful ingredients like "Retinol". It reminds me the days I used the pimple cream called "Tretinoin 5%" when I was 15 year old(I had to quite the school for 3-7 days every month due to heavy dry skin after using this pimple cream).
