If you want to waste your money on Vaccum Cleaner then only go and buy any product from Eureka Forbes.
I bought a Vaccum Cleaner around 4 months back from Eureka Forbes. For first 2 months, the machine did fine. Then one fine day, when I took out the machine, I realized that the wire was not coming out and was stuck somewhere. I called up the sales guy, who diverted me to the Customer Care centre and I lodged a complaint.
Now the real fun begins. After 2-3 days, I did receive the call from the local service centre that they will be sending someone to visit the place and see the machine. The person did not turn up for next 4 days and then one fine Monday afternoon, I received a call from a person that he is the engineer assigned by the company and he confirmed my address on phone. Then I kept on waiting for that guy or his call till evening but no call, no message. Then I tried to call up that engineer. The reason he told me was quite funny. He said that my building security guard did not allow him to park his bike there so he has returned to service centre now and he will not visit my place. By this time, I had completely lost it.
The only other person whom I could contact was the Sales guy. I gave him an earful and he passed on the no. of service centre contact person. His name was Rajesh Yadav. He is also one of a kind person. He told me that they have requested for the new part (without even inspecting the machine) and it will take a few days. Then after regular follow up, he diverted my call to his senior who is Mr Ashwin Bagde and he is supposed to be Zonal In-charge. This game of ping-pong where Rajesh diverts the call to Ashwin and who does vice-versa has been going on for 2 months now. Customer care is completely hopeless and has no clue about the products and the team working in the field.
I would sincerely and seriously advise not to go for Eureka Forbes Machines as their service has been the poorest so far.
