POOR SALES & SERVICE and WATER TASTE

I bought SENSA on July 21, 2010and got it delivered on July 22. Bought from VELACHERY branch. I requested the sales person to install them in the weekend (July 24 or 25). The sales person COMMITTED that they will do it in the weekend. I WAITED whole day Saturday and Sunday evening till 7 PM and no one turned up. The salesperson is not even ready to come back and tell that they are unable to come. I have to call them every time.


Then on Monday (July 26) one technician called me andI informed that I will need a holding STAND for SENSA installation and the technician told that he will bring it. When he came for installation, he told that the STAND is not in stock and he suggested to install it temporarily over a washing machine. He committed that he will get the STAND in two days. Salesperson also confirmed that he had ordered a stand on the same day.


Days went, Weeks went and till now (Aug 12, 2010) I have not even received one call from the technician or salesperson. I have called these guys so many times and they never answered my call.


IAM STILL WAITING FOR THE AQUAGAURD guys to complete installation ...... Anyone can help on this ?


So what is the learning here ?




  1. DON'T pay the full amount. Pay 50 % for booking, pay remaining 50 % after installation (Can give post dated cheques , give 20 days gap, so that you can stop the payment in case of issues)




  2. NEVER sign the installation form until you are done with complete installation, DON'T believe the technician/sales person words, they don't take responsibility for any thing




  3. THERE IS NO ESCALATION contact, customer support logs the call but no one follows-up, no one owns it




  4. There is a policy to return the equipment if you are not satisfied within 3 months






IF YOU WANT TO HAVE CONTROL, follow the above directions blindly...


On the Water quality : My personal view is :


The aquagaurd sensa has intelli mode, RO+UV and UF+YV


The intelli mode gives bad taste. It never auto detects the water quality... We have to manually select the RO+UV mode) Even with this mode, the water does NOT taste like mineral or CAN water... There is no sweetness so all SMP+ trademarks are just marketing ONLY ...


So hoping for any guys from Aquagaurd to respond to address my issues...
